2011 ANNUAL NEW ACQUISITIONS EXHIBIT
Opening Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 to April.
Each year Museum Curator, Stanley Hess, selects representative items that have been gifted to the Museum. Among the gifts is a spectacular "Fire Bird" rod puppet created by University of Washington graduate Debbie Hammond.
The museum also received a number of Javanese rod puppets and masks that greatly expands our holdings of this major puppet tradition. This past year's donations included some superb examples of the work of Alanson 'Lance' Davis an instructor at the University of Washington during the 1030's.
Be sure to include Bremerton’s monthly ART WALK, March 2nd on your Calendar and enjoy this annual banquet of new treasures. Be sure to express your appreciation to our donors and volunteers.
Bonnie Linden will be present to sign her recently published book, "B is for Bremerton".
The student artist for the month of February is 10 yr. old Frances Reynolds.
